Demon’s Souls will get a Digital Deluxe Edition along with the standard version. While local pricing is not available yet, the US versions will go for $69,99 and $89,99 respectively. So expect to pay R1,199 and R1,499 for the two editions if Sackboy is anything to go on. While the standard version of Demon’s Souls on PS5 only comes with the game, the Digital Deluxe Edition includes some items which will enhance your gameplay experience. This includes;

  • Full game
  • Legendary Hero Soul
  • Renowned Warrior Soul
  • Storied Warrior Soul
  • Red-Eye Knight Armor
  • Boletarian Royalty Armor
  • Ritual Blade
  • Hoplite Shield
  • Ring of Longevity
  • Preservation Grains
  • Phosphorescent Grains
  • Bearbug Grains
  • Large Hardstone Shard
  • Moonlightstone Shard
  • Original soundtrack

According to Sony, both versions of the game include a special pre-order weapon in the form of a “Scythe”. The original game did not include this weapon type at all so the remake might add a whole new playthrough experience thanks to this additional weapon.

Unfortunately, the game is not available for pre-order on the PlayStation Store yet. Sony listed both Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Sackboy: A Big Adventure but did not publish the Demon’s Souls store page in SA yet. However, keep your eyes peeled for more.

In the meantime, take a look at the screenshots down below and the latest gameplay trailer. Demon’s Souls remake releases on 12 November (19 November here in SA sad face).
