Destiny 2 and Assassin’s Creed Cross-Over Announced

Destiny 2 and the Assassin’s Creed series are about to collide in a new exciting event. Users who play either of the games can look forward to new cosmetic items launching in Destiny 2 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on 6 December. Sadly, there’s no actual “event” happening during this cross-over. In fact, the collaboration is just a way for both Bungie and Ubisoft to make a quick buck off players by selling themed cosmetic items.

In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, players will get cool-looking Destiny 2 themed outfits and other ornamental stuff. By the look of things, these include outfits designed after Shaxx, a general Destiny 2 costume and a mount. In Destiny 2, players will be able to purchase three Assassin’s Creed-themed outfits, one for each class.

The outfits will resemble iconic Assassin’s Creed fashion and come tailored for the Warlock, Hunter, and Titan classes. There are also various other items available including Sparrows, Ghosts and a Ship. Bungie has yet to fully reveal the lineup of content. However, you’ll likely get the opportunity to purchase these items in the upcoming season using Bright Dust as well as use real money to unlock them all instantly.

So far, both Bungie and Ubisoft have only shared one artwork for the collaboration. Both parties have yet to detail the exact lineup of cosmetics you can look forward to across the two games. We’ll likely see this arrive closer to the launch of the campaign next week.

Thankfully, Ubisoft actually added the files to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in the latest update and users managed to mod the game to access the content. Here are some images of the cosmetic items you’ll get. It includes two armour sets and three weapons themed after various Destiny 2 items.

This Destiny 2 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla crossover event marks the second collaboration for the popular shooter. Bungie teamed up with Epic Games to host a special Fortnite cross-over event during this current ongoing season in the game. The season ends on 6 December.
