Blizzard Entertainment has detailed the 2025 roadmap for Diablo 4 ahead of the game’s second major expansion set to release next year. Some highlights include keyboard and mouse support on console along with several unannounced IP collaborations that will arrive later this year.
The roadmap for 2025 leads into 2026 which Blizzard says will mark the release of Diablo 4‘s second major expansion following last year’s Vessel of Hatred. Players can also expect a new ranking system and leaderboards. From April until June, Diablo 4 will focus on Belial’s return to make up its seasonal content. “Belial, Lord of Lies has returned to warp reality to his will. Daring wanderers can clash with Belial and 2 bosses from Vessel of Hatred as part of the updated Lair Boss system,” wrote Blizzard.
During the summer, players can then tackle the Sins of the Horadrim season, described: “We return to Nightmare Dungeons with new activities and interactions that let you progress the dungeon’s intensity as you hunt down the barons of Hell.” The Infernal Chaos season will finally close out the year, though details on this particular season weren’t mentioned.
Finally, Blizzard confirmed that it will bring two IP collaborations to Diablo 4 this year but stopped short of mentioning what they are. “We are bringing 2 IP collaborations into Diablo 4 this year,” wrote Blizzard. “We can’t shed light on them currently, but we’re extremely excited to meld the Diablo universe with universes that complement its dark themes.”
