Diablo 4, the upcoming anticipated action-RPG from Blizzard Entertainment, is fast approaching its June release. Ahead of the big launch, Blizzard has shared exactly when players can get their hands on the game by revealing the global release dates and times for early access through Deluxe and Ultimate pre-orders as well as the regular launch.
Mike Ybarra, president of Blizzard Entertainment, recently took to Twitter to clarify the Diablo 4 global rollout plans. Ybarra mentions three specific regions covering the US, Europe and Asia. South Africa will likely fall under the European region. While there’s no global map showing the exact countries and time zones (that often excludes the African continent for some reason), the Blizzard president did briefly go over the key details.

According to Ybarra, those who pre-ordered the Diablo 4 Deluxe and Ultimate Editions will gain early access to the game a few days before the global release. Ybarra states:
“Early access for Deluxe and Ultimate pre-orders in the US is Thursday 6/1 at 4pm, 6/2 at 12am in Europe, 6/2 at 8am in Asia. Regular launch 6/5 at 4pm, 6/6 at 12am Europe, and 6/6 8am Asia.”
It’s worth noting that time zones change across continents so these might not be accurate times. We’ll have to wait for Blizzard Entertainment to confirm exact times and zones closer to release. However, this should give players a rough estimate of when they’ll be able to log into the game. Unfortunately, pre-load times aren’t known yet but Blizzard will share more information about it at a later stage.
Those still holding onto the massive 77 GB Diablo 4 beta file might also want to free up some space. Blizzard didn’t state if players could transition the beta download to the full game but it’s highly unlikely that this will be the case.
Diablo 4 launches on 6 June 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
