Diablo 4 players who need a little extra XP can earn 25% more starting on 1 September. Blizzard has announced a special and limited-time event for the game called Mother’s Blessing Weekend.
The Mother’s Blessing Weekend starts on 1 September at 10 am PDT / 1 pm ET / 19:00 CAT. It runs until 5 September 10 am PDT / 1 pm ET / 19:00 CAT. So not actually a weekend more like a five-day event. During this time, players will earn 25% extra XP and gold across all the game’s servers.
Blizzard says the Mother’s Blessing Event applies to both the game’s world tiers, the seasonal server and the Eternal Realm. As a result, no matter what level you are and what server you play on, you can benefit from the extra gains.
“Stoke the fire, gather round, and rally your most savvy of companions to slay demons with renewed fervor. The Blessed Mother’s cruelty is matched by her generosity, but not for long. Rise to new heights and earn more Gold for your bloodlust in the Mother’s Blessing Weekend!”
The latest event might be a great way for players to catch up on the seasonal content that launched in July. Blizzard has already announced Diablo 4 Season 2 which kicks off in October so you better get your loose ends tied up before that.
At the moment it isn’t clear how many players are still fighting demons in Diablo 4. The game had a solid launch but stumbled when Season of the Malignant arrived. Blizzard butchered the game with a nasty series of patches that nerfed XP gain and damage. It has been the talk of the industry ever since.
