Blizzard Entertainment has released two new videos for Diablo 4, this time showing off the character creation for two classes: Barbarian and Sorcerer. The company began teasing Diablo 4 news arriving today at The Game Awards, which is already believed to be a release date that was leaked for 6 June 2023. We now have a closer look at the game’s character creation, which is arguably the best in the series yet.
The character creation for Barbarian and Sorcerer was showcased in recently released videos for Diablo 4, showing just how much has improved since the last game. Players can now change a range of cosmetic details from hair styles, body paint, skin tone, jewelry, face presets and much more. It’s a notable step up from the character creators of previous games and should appeal to more players hoping to fully customise their ideal character.

Blizzard revealed that each piece of armour and clothing you acquire as gear in the game will match your classes aesthetic. This means that if you’re playing as a Necromancer, you won’t get Barbarian clothing or armour as drops. It’s a simple but effective way to ensure that players are constantly being rewarded with the right gear and items best suited for their preferred playstyle and class choice. Other classes in the game include the Druid, Rogue and Necromancer.
The official description for Diablo 4 via the game’s official website reads:
“The endless battle between the High Heavens and the Burning Hells rages on as chaos threatens to consume Sanctuary. With ceaseless demons to slaughter, countless Abilities to master, nightmarish Dungeons, and Legendary loot, this vast, open world brings the promise of adventure and devastation. Survive and conquer darkness – or succumb to the shadows.”
Diablo 4 is reportedly set to launch on 6 June 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Check out the Barbarian and Sorcerer character customisation videos (compiled) below.
