As expected, Blizzard Entertainment has just revealed Diablo IV to the world at BlizzCon 2019 after a slew of rumours hinted at the game and its details for the past few weeks. During the BlizzCon 2019 opening ceremony, the main villain for Diablo IV was revealed as Lillith, the Daughter of Hatred and the mother of Sanctuary. Lillith looks spectacular and bloody and combined with the darker atmosphere in the trailer, as she gets summoned in a blood ritual by some treasure hunters.

Blizzard is going back to the franchise’s darker, gothic, Sanctuary with a medieval hell. Players will have a lot of choices and they will even be able to murder each other in PvP zones.

Blizzard Entertainment also showed off the first few classes that players will be able to level up and hunt for a plethora of loot with, including the Mage, Druid and a fan-favourite, the Barbarian. Combat looks a lot like Diablo 3 but it has been improved and everything about the game just looks spectacular. Players will be able to interact with the environment a lot more and yes, there will also be mounts for players to ride.

At the time of writing, Blizzard Entertainment hasn’t revealed the exact release date for Diablo 4. The game will be coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
