Dinosaurs Meet Horror in New Instinction Trailer

Hashbane Interactive has released a new trailer for the upcoming Instinction game. If you don’t know what this is, Instinction is a horror game set across a world inhabited by dinosaurs. The game lets players switch between third and first-person camera perspectives as they explore beautiful yet strange locations and come face to face with deadly predators. Think Dino Crisis meets modern gaming tech.

Very little is known about the game’s story at this stage but the latest trailer shows off a few things to come. In particular, we see that Instinction revolves around a world filled with some sort of old relic technology. The player is seen picking up a gold coin-like key and inserting it into a stone slab that opens the door.

Whatever is happening in Instinction, it does seem interesting. The game’s combat also seems to revolve around sneaking through deadly packs of dinosaurs while also reserving your ammunition for when you need it. It is not a guns-blazing, dinosaur ripping shooter. It is also important to note that Instinction isn’t a survival game either (thank the heavens). This is a narrative-driven horror game where the player is a measly human trying to not get eaten in a world filled with dinosaurs.

Instinction

Instinction is being developed on Unreal Engine 4 and features some modern tech implementation. This includes raytracing and DLSS. We don’t have a release date yet for Instinction but Hashbane Interactive plans on releasing the game for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC sometime in 2022. Check out the trailer down below.

Instinction is a prehistoric action-adventure game, with combat and exploration in multiple awe inspiring natural locations. Currently in Development by Hashbane Interactive.
