Disintegration Public Beta Will Take Place Later This Month

Disintegration will be getting its own public beta test later this month and although it will be a short one, this could be your chance to test out the game. V1 Interactive and its Publisher Private Division revealed the public beta test will take place between 31 January 2020 and 1 February 2020 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The tactical shooter created by Halo veteran Marcus Lehto will also be running a closed beta test between 28-29 January 2020.

The Disintegration beta test will include two of the three multiplayer modes as well as seven playable teams. Control is one of these and features the same control point mechanic where players need to capture and hold points on the map. Retrieval, the other game mode will see one team trying to steal and deliver cargo while the other team tries to defend it.

Disintegration features a unique blend of tactical and shooter gameplay. It is set in a dystopic world where a civil war has broken out and humans have implanted their brains in robots.

Players take control of a team with some heavy strategic gameplay mechanics while juggling the skills of the controlled player and your fellow human players. Other gameplay mechanics include “grav-cyles” which players can ride to get around faster and blow things up.

The game seems to be merging the world of strategy and shooter into one and we are excited to see how it turns out.

You can sign up for the Disintegration closed beta test and find out more about the public beta by visiting the site. If you don’t get in then don’t fret, the public beta will be available for all players the day after the closed test.
