Disney has announced a special Disney and Marvel Games showcase event for early September. The showcase will form part of Disney’s D23 Expo that kicks off on 9 September and will play host to a range of new video game announcements from the company.
In a press release, Disney says that the digital showcase will feature “incredible new content” from Disney and Pixar Games, Marvel Games, Lucasfilm Games and 20th Century Games. It continues to state that fans can expect “all-new announcements” as well as details on Disney’s upcoming Disney Dreamlight Valley, Marvel’s Midnights Suns, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and more.

Disney confirmed that the D23 Expo showcase will also provide an update from Skydance New Media and its new game from a popular Disney franchise. Skydance New Media is also the team behind The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners. According to sources, the studio is now actively working on a new Fantastic Four video game.
Disney didn’t confirm whether or not EA Games’ rumoured Black Panther and Iron Man video games will also be part of the event. Recently we covered that EA Games was working on a Black Panther and Iron Man game. Both games are reportedly single-player story-focused action adventures set in their respective universes. EA Games has yet to reveal any details about the leaked projects.
