Disney Speedstorm is Now Free-to-Play With Season 4 Live

Disney Speedstorm was released earlier this year but its launch was locked behind a founder’s pack purchase. The purchase would grant you early access to the game as well as a number of cosmetic items depending on how much money you threw at the racer. There’s good news, you can now play Disney Speedstorm without paying anything – terms and conditions apply.

Being a free-to-play game, expect loads of in-game purchases thrown at you in Disney Speedstorm. However, the racer is now available across all platforms without any initial payment required. It is also launching with its new Season 4 content inspired by Alladin.

If you don’t know, Disney Speedstorm is a combat-based racing game inspired by the likes of Mario Kart and Crash Team Racing. It takes place across Disney worlds and includes Disney characters and items to collect throughout the game.

Racers included Mickey Mouse, Belle, Captain Jack Sparrow, Buzz Lightyear, Hercules and other iconic characters. You’ll also race around tracks themed after Disney movies and shows. If anything, this is Disney’s love letter to Disney – in racing form.

Disney Speedstorm Season 4 now includes a load of awesome-looking Alladin content. You’ll get to race as Jasmine, Genie and Alladin across a themed track called “The Cave of Wonders”. There’s also a flying carpet vehicle.

Gameloft hosted a detailed stream last night showcasing Disney Speedstorm and even revealed some future content. Watch it below.

While Disney Speedstorm’s microtransactions are a little aggressive, the game does make for a good time. If you’re looking for something to play and you’re craving a racer and Disney stuff, I recommend giving it a go.

Can’t complain about a F2p game, never mind nowadays people complain about pretty much everything.
