Doctor Doom MCU Project Accidentally Leaked by Howard Stern

A Doctor Doom MCU project is reportedly in the works at Marvel Studios and the leak comes from an unexpected source. Radio host Howard Stern recently confirmed his involvement in an upcoming Doctor Doom project, accidentally leaking a potential film featuring the Fantastic Four villain.

An audio clip circulating the internet reveals Stern talking to a producer about his plans for the summer, confirming that he’s set to appear in a Doctor Doom project in some capacity. Stern stated that he contacted Iron Man actor Robert Downey, Jr. for acting techniques too.

Stern spilled the beans on his possible involvement in the Doctor Doom MCU project, stating:

“They’re going over the schedule with me, and it’s going to suck. I told you, I’m going to do ‘Doctor Doom.’ That’s the thing. But believe me, I’m f–king miserable about it… I called Robert Downey, Jr. and I was asking him acting techniques.”

It’s unclear if Marvel Studios is planning a standalone film featuring Doctor Doom or a Disney+ series, which would make a bit more sense if the villain is introduced in the upcoming Phase 4 Fantastic Four film.

Major spoilers for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness ahead: Fans got a taste of the new Fantastic Four when actor John Krasinski appeared in some scenes as Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic. Though this was an alternate universe, fans think Krasinski might already be in talks to appear as the character in the standalone Fantastic Four film.

The latest Doctor Doom leak isn’t too surprising considering that Marvel Studios and Disney are planning to introduce the superhero team to its expansive cinematic universe at some point, which might include the heroes’ iconic recurring villain.

As with all leaks and rumours, take this with a grain of salt until we get confirmation from an official source.
