Valve isn’t slowing down when it comes to updating Dota 2 with new stuff, from the recent gameplay update to the Earthshaker Arcana getting released. One of my favourite treasures each year is the Collector’s Cache, filled with creations from the community. Now, voting for which items Battle Pass owners want in the Collector’s Cache have opened up and you can vote for your favourites by giving them a thumbs up in the game right now, if you own a Battle Pass.
You only have until 3 June to vote for your Collector’s Cache favourites and there are 83 to choose from. Nearly everything looks awesome if you ask me, so it’s going to be difficult to give anything a thumbs down. With the update that released at roughly 02:00 this morning, Valve also explained in a blog post that:
[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”#33e6ff” class=”” size=”25″] As always, the Dota 2 workshop has seen an impressive number of high-quality submissions for this year’s Collector’s Cache. To help make the final selection, we’d like to invite all Battle Pass owners to weigh in on the process.
From now until Monday, June 3, the final candidates for the Collector’s Cache will be featured for preview in the Dota 2 client, where all players can see a lineup of the item sets for easy comparison. Battle Pass owners can give a thumbs up or down to each set under consideration, and sets with the highest scores will be prepared for inclusion in this year’s Cache.
We thank each workshop artist that submitted items for this year’s call to arms, and we look forward to seeing which sets strike a chord with the Battle Pass community. [/perfectpullquote]
Looking through the items this morning, my personal favourite has to be the Broodmother’s one with her back opening up with those green spike-like things and tentacles for legs.
There’s also one Slark item because the Dark Reef hero needs some love, as well as a tonne of other submissions. You can also see the items in action, which will help in determining your favourites.
Which items do you hope to see in the Collector’s Cache? Let us know in the comment section below.
