Virtus.Pro awaits their final challenge in the Chongqing Major Grand Finals today. Throughout the tournament, we’ve seen some spectacular Dota 2 and now, we have finally arrived at the last day of the tournament.

Yesterday, my personal favourites for the tournament PSG.LGD took down Fnatic with style and EG took out EHOME, silencing the Chinese crowd. Then, PSG.LGD, the last Chinese hope, faced off against EG. After the gruelling matchup was complete, EG advanced to the loser’s bracket finals and will now face Team Secret.
Secret looked nearly unstoppable during the tournament until they met Virtus.Pro who managed to claw their way back from a 0-1 deficit to clinch the series 2-1 in the winner’s bracket finals. Now, Secret is out for revenge but first, they need to get past EG to claim a spot in the Chongqing Major Grand Finals.

The best-of-five Chongqing Major Grand Finals is sure to be a slugfest with these two teams fighting it out for the lion’s share of the $1 million prize pool as well as a tonne of DPC points. Virtus.Pro has looked as frightening as ever throughout the tournament and I am pretty sure that whatever happens, this won’t be a 3-0, so cancel those plans and get ready for a lot of Dota 2 today.
