The group stage for the first major of the Dota Pro Circuit season completed over the weekend and today, the MDL Chengdu Major playoffs kicked off. It is an exciting time for Dota 2 esports fans with so much action to catch and some of the top teams in the world fighting for their share of the $1 million prize pool and a whopping 15,000 DPC points.

During the group stages, we saw some fantastic Dota 2 esports matches take place with TNC Predator taking top spot in Group A, Vici Gaming taking top spot in Group B, Team Liquid taking top spot in Group C (over EG) and Invictus Gaming continuing their run from the recent Minor with an impressive win in Group D.
At the time of writing, the MDL Chengdu Major playoffs are underway with TNC Predator beating Alliance already in the early hours of the morning with a score of 2-1, while the Liquid versus J.Storm match is taking place right now. There’s still a lot of Dota 2 esports action to come today and you can catch the lower-bracket matches (BO1 for the first round) at the following times. These times are in SAST and might change slightly depending on how long some of the matches last.
