Dota 2 Esports – New NiP Roster Announced as PPD Builds a New Team

Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) didn’t do all too well during the past DPC season and the team didn’t even get to the Main Event of The International 2019, crashing out in the group stage of the tournament. Dota 2 esports fans backing Ninjas in Pyjamas had to be disappointed at the team’s performance and now, Peter “ppd” Dager has built an entirely new roster for the upcoming DPC season.

The new NiP roster reunites Peter “ppd” Dager with none-other than his TI5-winning teammate, Saahil “Universe” Arora and three other players that the organization seem confident about going into the new DPC season. Dota 2 esports fans should notice some of these players from last season’s Infamous roster. Check out the full new NiP roster below:

  • Oliver “Skiter” Lepko
  • Nico “Gunnar” Lopez
  • Saahil “Universe” Arora
  • Malthe “Biver” Winther
  • Peter “ppd” Dager

NiP explained the roster changes and thanked the players involved, stating that:

[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”#1cede0″ class=”” size=”22″]We would like to extend our gratitude towards our former players Saksa, 33, Fata, and Ace. It has been a pleasure watching you perform under the NiP banner and we wish you luck in your future careers as Dota 2 professionals.

As former teammates, ppd and Universe come in as the veterans in an otherwise unproven but extremely promising new line-up. The two share a track record having won The International 5 together and are now looking to combine their strengths once more and mould a team that can win championships.[/perfectpullquote]

It will be interesting to see how the new Ninjas in Pyjamas roster performs and with qualifiers for the first Major and Minor kicking off soon, we probably won’t have to wait long to find out.
