First up, this isn’t a new roster for the main team, as Johan “N0tail” Sundstein and his team will be returning at some point to defend their TI title and take part in Dota Pro Circuit events. However, the OG Seed roster is to grow new talent and the two-time TI winning team will coach them. The OG Seed roster looks like this:

  • Rasmus Johan “Chessie” Blomdin
  • Omar Mohammad “Madara”  Dabachach
  • Peetu-Elmeri “Peksu” Väätäinen
  • Andreas Per “Xibbe” Ragnemalm
  • Zakari William Lee “Zfreek” Freedman

OG Seed will take part in the qualifiers for the second Major of the Dota Pro Circuit season, while the TI winning OG roster will dedicate their time and energy towards these new players up until the third Dota Pro Circuit Major, in which the main team will take part as well.

Ceb had this to say about the OG Seed initiative:

[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”#33FFFA” class=”” size=”20″]This OG Seed journey comes with great expectations for us at OG. Being able to go back in time, alongside up and coming players, is simply amazing. I know this is going to be a win-win situation for everyone involved. We will share experience, maturity and knowledge, while they will feed us with their immense motivation, their drive and passion. We intend to give them the best we can offer and help them achieve their dreams just like we achieved ours. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy the ride as much as we will. Cheers OGs, love ya [/perfectpullquote]

Today, on 29 November at 18:00 SAST, OG Seed will take on Nigma (Kuro’s squad) in a BO3 series. The winner qualifies for the Dreamleague Season 11 Major Closed Qualifiers.
