Ever since the massive Dota 2 update released over the weekend with the Mo’rokai special event and the Immortal Treasure II, many gamers have apparently been experiencing Dota 2 Game Coordinator problems. Personally, I ran into issues even before the update, for the past two weeks, as the Dota 2 Game Coordinator was stuck on “logging in”.

Now, Valve has taken to Twitter to explain that they are working on the Dota 2 Game Coordinator issues. This problem is a very big deal as players simply can’t find any matches if this happens and it seems like it is more prominent in some regions than others. Valve normally doesn’t communicate a lot via social media, especially not when it comes to bugs or issues, further proving the severity of the Dota 2 Game Coordinator problems.
We are working on fixing the Game Coordinator problems that is causing a segment of players to be unable find a match or interact with certain features in the client.

As you can see, no ETA was given on a fix for the issues. Further, some (including myself) are also experiencing daily and weekly Battle Pass quests not progressing as they should, or Mo’rokai rewards not coming through after a match.
Hopefully, Valve can push out a fix soon or maybe if the issues continue, they should extend the Battle Pass feature even further. Those who can’t play the game right now miss out on daily challenges and more for those Battle Points, after all.
