In September last year, something happened that I, for one, never would have thought possible. The legendary Dota 2 player, Danil “Dendi” Ishutin parted ways with his team of eight years, Na’Vi. This was after multiple roster changes as Na’Vi kept underperforming for a long time.

For those who are new to the Dota 2 esports scene, Dendi was the prolific mid player when Na’Vi won the first ever The International and went on to achieve a feat that no team have managed to mirror. Na’Vi and Dendi managed to get to three The International finals.
That was five years ago and after Dendi parted ways with Na’Vi, he has been without a solid team, until now. A South East Asia team, Tigers, have recently had some roster changes ahead of the DreamLeague Season 11 Major Open Qualifiers and they have announced Dendi as their new team member. Check out the announcement below.
A long time rival to our players, now ally. Let’s welcome Danil “Dendi” Ishutin as the 5th member to join the Tigers family today! Bringing the team to a full roster. Fans of Tigers, we want to share this experience with you.
Since the DreamLeague Season 11 Major Open Qualifiers kicks off tomorrow, it will be very exciting to see the legend back in action. Tigers might not be a Tier 1 team, but they have some other legends of the game as well, namely Mushi and Moonmeander. I, for one, suspect great things from this team and hopefully, they can make a good first impression during DreamLeague.
The full Tigers roster is:
- Danil “Dendi” Ishutin
- Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung
- David “Moonmeander” Tan
- Kenny “Xepher” Deo
- Sivatheeban “1437” Sivanathapillai
Expect some crazy stuff from this team, especially Dendi. I can still recall the Fountain Hooks as if it was yesterday. For those who haven’t seen him in action or don’t know what I am talking about, check out the video below and tell us what you think about the Tigers team in the comment section.
