Dragon Age Dreadwolf Retitled The Veilguard Gameplay BioWare

Dragon Age: The Veilguard Gets First Trailer – Confirmed For 2024 Launch

BioWare dropped the first trailer for the highly anticipated Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Formerly known as Dragon Age: Dreadworld, the game has been renamed and confirmed for a 2024 launch.

In the first trailer, we get a good look at all the companions we’ll meet and (hopefully) form bonds with in the new adventure. From Emmirich The Necromancer to Darvin The Warden, they all seem pretty likeable already.

BioWare is expected to showcase 15 minutes of gameplay on 11 June during a special Dragon Age live stream. So for now, this in-engine trailer will have to do.

It does a great job setting things up, however. There’s a mix of in-game cinematics to enjoy alongside a look at some of the monsters and even a dragon we will likely face in the game.

The big news here is that Dragon Age: The Veilguard is going to launch this fall, which is September – December. The game is expected to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

When corrupt gods break free from centuries of darkness, the odds will be stacked against you. You can’t do this alone. Rally a team of seven companions, each with rich lives and deep backstories. These are characters to befriend, and even fall in love with. Among them, an assassin, a necromancer, and a detective will each bring their own expertise and unique abilities to the fight. You are never alone; decide who to take into battle and together face down demons, dragons and even ancient gods.

You’ll fight alongside:

  • Harding: The Scout
  • Neve: The Detective
  • Emmrich: The Necromancer
  • Taash: The Dragon Hunter
  • Davrin: The Warden
  • Bellara: The Veil Jumper
  • Lucanis: The Mage Killer

Create memories with your team which will deepen your experiences and give you more to fight for. The world teeters on a knife’s edge, but together you have the power to fight back
