BioWare is expected to announce the release date for Dragon Age: The Veilguard later today but it seems it has already leaked. According to a leaked trailer, likely the one we’ll see later today, the game is expected to launch on 31 October.
The trailer doesn’t showcase any new gameplay which is a bit concerning. In fact, it is made up of a handful of clips from the June gameplay showcase. In the end, it reveals the 31 October launch for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. There’s also a pre-order now call-to-action.
This means that later today when the trailer goes live, we’ll also be able to pre-order the game across selected platforms. At the moment, we don’t know what game versions will launch for Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
This is not the first time we have seen the 31 October release date either. A few weeks ago, an art book leaked which also detailed the game’s release date. So there’s a very good chance this is indeed the date on which we’ll play the game.
BioWare has planned a handful of reveals leading up to the game’s launch. Kicking off on 15 August, we’ll get the release date. Then on 19 August a PC spotlight feature followed by a “Companions Week” on 26 August. There’s also a developer Q&A on Discord taking place on 30 August.
We will share all the updates as they are released. There will also be a pre-order guide going up very soon. In the meantime, catch up on the last gameplay overview video below.
