BioWare has confirmed that the studio will share the Dragon Age: The Veilguard release date sometime in August. In a social media post, the devs say a release date will arrive alongside a roadmap to launch and more gameplay.
We know Dragon Age: The Veilguard will launch sometime before the end of 2024. BioWare has confirmed this news already across its various recent trailers. However, we don’t know exactly when. The studio will likely aim for a launch in October or November at this rate.
So far, those two months aren’t as busy as they usually are. Previous years have seen multiple triple-A games piled into October and November. So far, we only have the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on 25 October and Assassin’s Creed Shadows on 15 November.
BioWare won’t have to fight for gaming time if they do release Dragon Age: The Veilguard in these months. However, more game announcements might still be on the way with Gamescom right around the corner.
Speaking of which, there’s a good chance the Dragon Age: The Veilguard release date will be announced at Gamescom. The event’s Opening Night Live takes place on 20 August. It will likely play host to a number of announcements and release dates.
