DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing is coming your way and it stars Shrek, Trolls, Kung Fu Panda, The Boss Baby and other DreamWorks characters. The racer is being developed by Bamtang Games and published by Gamemill Entertainment. Bamtang Games were the team which worked on the recent Nickelodeon Kart Racer games.
According to the studio, DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing is launching on PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One and PC. However, the game doesn’t have a release date just yet.

At launch, DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing will feature 20 playable characters including Shrek, Po, Tigress, Boss Baby, Puss in Boots, Hiccup, and Astrid. Other DreamWorks characters will appear in the game through items and pickups. For example, the Trolls host each race and players can collect them to rack up abilities.
Tracks are also based on iconic DreamWorks sets. Players can race around the Kingdom of Far Far Away, Bergen Town, The Spirit Realm, Baby Corp and even New York City Zoo. All these tracks are designed after popular movies and shows from the studio.
Of course, there are multiple editions of the game and they all come with various content. The standard edition will cost $39.99 whereas the Digital Deluxe Edition costs $49.99. This version comes with two exclusive characters, Master Oogway from Kung Fu Panda and Wolf from Puss in Boots.
There’s no trailer to watch just yet. Bamtang Games did release some screenshots of the game and it looks great. However, there’s no gameplay at the moment.
While this isn’t a Shrek game, it is nice to see the character back in gaming. The last time we saw Shrek in a video game was back in 2011 when the appeared in the last kart racer, Activision’s DreamWorks Super Star Kartz. If anything, this new DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing looks like the spiritual successor to that classic racer. Check out the screenshots below:
