Multichoice claims the low DSTv 2020 price increase rates will help make the service more affordable and accessible to as many South Africans as possible.
The company is reportedly working on a “dishless” version of the service where users will require a fast internet line to take advantage of the channels available on offer. The service is said to roll out before the first half of this year and is currently undergoing testing. The service will require no installation fees or hardware other than a smart TV, mobile device or laptop in order to stream the content.
