For a game that has no release date and has been in limbo for close to two years now, seeing a Collector’s Edition online is kinda strange. Details of an upcoming Dying Light 2 Collector’s Edition have reportedly leaked online which could mean that the game is actually arriving sooner than we think.

For starters, Techland announced a couple of weeks ago that the studio has “exciting news” to share with us. The developer did not say when this news would arrive but they were forced to clear the air after multiple developers departed the studio and rumours of the game’s rocky development surfaced online.
The “exciting news” is nowhere to be seen but we do have what seems to be the first look at the Dying Light 2 Collector’s Edition thanks to a Czech retailer Xzone.cz. The store uploaded the game by mistake before it was pulled offline. However, this is the internet so of course, someone spotted it before it vanished.
The Dying Light 2 Collector’s Edition comes bundled with a handful of goodies. According to the leaked image, users will get an artbook, UV stickers, UV flashlight, steelbook, limited edition figurine and a copy of the game. The image has also seemingly leaked the game’s boxart which replicates the same half-head art we have seen in the trailers. All of this is listed for €210.
While the image is legit, we don’t know whether or not Techland have kept to this bundle. We also don’t see any mention of PS5 and Xbox Series X/S which could mean that this image might be old and intended for use when the game was originally set to release in 2020.
Let’s hope Techland share some details on the development of Dying Light 2 and this Collector’s Edition soon. In the meantime, watch the same old gameplay we have been watching ever since its debut back in August 2019.
