Dying Light 2 Review - Better Left Dead

Dying Light 2 Gets New Game Plus and More This Week

Techland is rolling out a substantial update for Dying Light 2 this week. Most importantly, the update will bring a New Game Plus mode to the game which is one of the most requested features since its launch. Dying Light 2 update 1.3.0 also includes a FOV slider for PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Techland says that players can kick off Dying Light 2 New Game Plus at any point after finishing the base game. In New Game Plus, enemies will scale to Aiden’s progression unlocking a new challenging experience. Techland has also added in never-before-seen infected variants that drop the best loot you can find in the game.

In addition to the new variants and tougher challenges, New Game Plus also comes with 30 new Inhibitors to find. These will let players push health and stamina to their very peaks as they take on the new game mode. You can also find new Platinum tier parkour challenges around the map that include even tougher goal times to master.

Techland says the Dying Light 2 update is expected to drop in the coming few days for all supported platforms. Of course, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles are the only ones getting the FOV slider. However, everyone can benefit from the New Game Plus mode.
