Dying Light 2 Multiplayer

Dying Light 2 Has an Awesome Cyberpunk 2077 Easter Egg

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is out in the wild and players are already finding plenty of great Easter eggs in the open-world action title. The latest fantastic Easter egg discovered by fans is related to Cyberpunk 2077 and gives players the in-game equivalent of the Mantis Blades.

As detailed by YouTube channel Punish, Dying Light 2 features a Cyberpunk 2077 Easter egg that gives players unique weapons “inspired” by the Mantis Blades from CD Projekt Red’s RPG. To get these weapons is no easy feat, though, as it requires some seriously tricky platforming to locate and acquire.

The first step is to ride the elevator up the VCN Tower after you’ve completed the Broadcast story mission. After exiting the elevator, scale the green metal structure to your left. You’ll notice two mossy skyscrapers which are smaller than the VCN Tower. Use your glider to reach the closest skyscraper, then glide to the next one.

Once you reach the roof of the second mossy skyscraper, you’ll meet a man standing next to a campfire. Talk to him and he’ll mention that he’s left something for you. A cache will appear to your left that contains the Cyber Hands 2177 blueprint. However, if you’ve already completed the main quest, the NPC won’t appear, so it’s best to do this right after the Broadcast story mission.

The weapons are very clearly inspired by the Mantis Blades featured in Cyberpunk 2077, protruding from the player’s arms. They aren’t as flexible given the differing gameplay styles to CD Projekt Red’s game, but they’re a great Easter egg for those who want a stylish new weapon.

If you want a more detailed rundown of how to acquire the Cyber Hands 2177 blueprint, Punish also published a full video guide on how to find the hidden NPC (which you can watch below).

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is now available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
