Dying Light 2 Collector's Edition Delayed PS5 Xbox Series X Techland Dying Light 2 gameplay Dying Light 2 Release Date

Dying Light 2 Release Date Set for 7 December For Current, Last-Gen Systems – Rumour

Later today, at 9 pm SAT, Techland is hosting a special Dying Light 2 stream that will finally show off more of the game. This being after we last saw gameplay all the way back in August 2019. Techland then hosted a “we are fine and the game is still in development” video earlier this year after reports of a toxic workplace environment appeared online. However, Dying Light 2 is on its way and will release on 7 December 2021 for current and last-gen consoles. This is according to a leaked ad banner that multiple users have seen online in the past 24 hours.

Earlier this week, the official boxart for the game leaked too. The box features the iconic key artwork along with a new tag that reads “Dying Light 2 Stay Human”. This falls in line with the original game’s “Good Night, Good Luck” tag that shipped on the artwork too. While at first, the boxart leak was questionable, the banner ad also seems to feature the same styling. This is no doubt an official release date.

So while we already know when the game is releasing, tonight’s stream will showcase more gameplay and perhaps reveal the leaked collector’s edition that also popped up earlier this year. December is still a while away, but given Dying Light 2 and its troubled development cycle, I say Techland can take all the time they need to get this game ready. We really don’t need another Cyberpunk 2077 train smash taking place in December. Not again!
