Techland has showcased all the Dying Light 2 skill trees players can expect to see when the game releases next month. The skill trees are divided into two variations. You get Combat and Parkour. This is quite different from the original game that was divided into three trees. In the original Dying Light, players had to spend their skills across Power, Agility and Survivor.
With that being said, it seems that with even two skill trees available in Dying Light 2, the abilities are pretty much in line with what we experienced in the first game. This means players can still rush into enemies, kick them off ledges and everyone’s favourite move, the dropkick, is still in the game.

The Dying Light 2 skill tree named “Parkour” revolves around exploration and how fast players get about the world. It includes increasing your jump distance, fall damage, how fast you can climb and more. However, there are some new skills to look forward to. One skill called “Tic Tac” lets players now run across horizontal walls. There’s no doubt that Techland has created unique parkour opportunities to take advantage of this new movement. You can probably look forward to doing some unique parkour challenges that require mastering these skills too.

Keep in mind that the trailer doesn’t really give too much away as it also skips through most of the skills on offer. Dying Light 2 is set to release on 4 February 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
