EA Access PS4

EA Access PS4 Release Date Revealed

We know EA Access was coming to PS4 in the coming weeks but up until now, we have had no idea when. EA has confirmed EA Access will be arriving on PS4 on 24 July 2019.

The subscription service has been available on Xbox One and PC for some time already and its debut on PS4 is a welcome addition to the platform given EA’s push for early access and its library of games available on the service.

Users will pay R48,50 per month or R299 per year and will offer unlimited access to EA’s vault of games including games such as FIFA 19, Battlefield V, The Sims 4 and more.

The service also offers discounts on new upcoming games and early access to them so you can play specific titles before the launch and carry your progress over if you wish to purchase the title.

The big seller here is the early access as previously, PS4 owners have been left out of the service and stuck waiting until launch to play specific games. With EA Access PS4, you will now be able to experience these games early with everyone else without having to worry about spoilers and progression being delayed.

While EA has yet to confirm what games will be coming to the service specifically, you can most likely expect the full catalogue of games which are available on Xbox One. EA will no doubt push the service closer to the release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order as it will offer early access and pre-order discount to members of EA Access PS4.
