EA Games is in the process of removing all Russian representation in its latest FIFA video game series. According to the company, the first games to lose the Russian clubs and teams will be FIFA 22, FIFA Mobile and FIFA Online.
In a statement, EA Games says they stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian and to align with its partners at FIFA and UEFA, the company has decided to initiate processes to remove all Russian representation across these games.

EA Games says that they will also investigate other means to remove Russia from previous FIFA titles. However, at the moment the company’s priorities lie with the latest, most active games.
Players who are currently playing FIFA 22, FIFA Mobile and FIFA Online will be notified of the changes in these games once they take place. EA Games says the teams removed are the Russian National team and all Russian clubs. The company hasn’t detailed what will happen if a gamer owns a specific player from these teams in their FUT roster.
EA Games follows many other developers and companies who have backed out of supporting Russia due to the ongoing invasion of Ukraine.
