As one of the most drawn-out game reveals in recent history, EA Sports has officially announced its new FC 24 game which is set to be fully unveiled later this week. Alongside the announcement of the announcement, EA Sports also showcased the game’s Ultimate Edition cover which is full of football players – a nice change from featuring just one player each year.
The cover of the EA Sports FC 24 Ultimate Edition includes the likes of David Beckham, Andrea Pirlo, Erling Haaland and more. The most interesting thing to note about the cover is that instead of using real-life photos of each player, EA Sports has decided to go with in-game renders.

The combination of the in-game renders and the group shot of players is definitely a change for EA Sports. If anything, the studio has never done this in all thirty years of the FIFA series. The studio definitely wants this new FC 24 game to look and feel like something new.
As for the game details, EA Sports will share more later this week. The trailer which accompanied the Ultimate Edition cover reveal was more a teaser than anything else. It included CG footage of some players chatting in locker rooms and playing on the field. It doesn’t represent gameplay.
EA Sports FC 24 will then officially get unveiled on 13 July. EA Sports will detail the gameplay, features and other important aspects of this new football journey for the studio. There are a lot of questions that need to be answered but hopefully, EA Sports will cover it all.
EA Sports FC 24 is the first non-FIFA football game from the studio in over thirty years. According to a leaked report, the game will debut in September. EA will confirm the release date this week.
