EA Sports FC 24

EA Sports FC 24 Release Date Leaked

This year marks quite a big step for EA Sports and its football game genre. It is the first year EA Sports aims to release a football game without FIFA backing the project. This comes after FIFA and EA Games split in 2021. According to both companies, the split has only benefited each other as they claim to have been freed from the contractual shackles that held the FIFA series back. This year EA Sports FC 24 will debut and according to a leak, it is targeting a familiar release window.

A new leak from reliable data miner Billbil-kun claims that EA Sports FC 24 will release on 29 September 2023. For those familiar with the FIFA series, this date won’t surprise you. Previous EA Games-driven FIFA titles usually release near the end of September into early October.

While details are scarce, the leak also claims that EA will launch an EA Sports FC 24 Ultimate Edition, giving players a full week of early access to the game. This means Ultimate Edition owners can start playing EA Sports FC 24 on 22 September.

EA’s previous, and final FIFA 23 game also came in an Ultimate Edition but it only granted players 3 days of early access. This full week is nice to see for those who want to play it a little earlier. Of course, the Ultimate Edition will also come with other goodies but EA has yet to detail the specifics.

EA Sports is expected to showcase EA Sports FC 24 sometime this month. The company began teasing the game back in April and confirmed an official reveal this month. However, there’s no exact date yet for that announcement.

EA Sports FC 24 marks the first football game from EA since the publisher ended its relationship with FIFA. However, FIFA is also working on a new football game too. The organization has yet to share which studio is developing the project but according to FIFA president Gianni Infantino, the new FIFA game will be the best e-game for “any girl or boy”.

EA Sports will likely have the spotlight alone this year as FIFA only plans on releasing its new independent football game in the form of FIFA 25 next year.
