EA Starts Teasing Need for Speed Unbound Reveal

We know that Need for Speed Unbound is definitely going to happen soon after a handful of gameplay leaks revealed the racer’s look and feel. However, even after loads of gameplay leaked online, EA didn’t say a thing about the game. That is about to change as the company has started teasing the announcement.

Over on the Need for Speed social media accounts, EA has updated the profile pictures and header images to new artwork. The Twitter account features a new NFS profile picture with a giant billboard image at the top of the account. The words “do not ignore” are seen in green.

If that wasn’t enough, EA has also started teasing fans by actually replying to tweets about the reveal. Twitter user U5ER_141 asked the Need for Speed account about the reveal this week. They asked EA to confirm it is happening. The Need for Speed account replied with the two eyes emoji.

While EA has yet to confirm the name of this year’s Need for Speed game, rumours claim the game is titled Need for Speed Unbound. It is reportedly a mix of Need for Speed Underground and Most Wanted. According to previously leaked footage, the game features a comic book art style with an open-world approach.

EA will likely announce Need for Speed Unbound this week but don’t expect to play the game until 2023. Given that it is already October, I highly doubt the game will launch this year.

Keep an eye on the game’s social posts for updates on the announcement. It could go live at any time.
