Fortnite’s recent “Share The Love” campaign introduced Overtime Challenges with even more rewards for players to earn. Yes, you won’t have to throw your wallet or v-bucks cache at the Season 8 Battle Pass if you can earn it.

Earning the upcoming Fortnite Battle Pass for free is relatively simple, but it will take some time as well. What you need to do is complete 13 Overtime Challenges by 27 February and the Season 8 Battle Pass will be yours for free.

Epic explained in a post on their website that:

The response we’ve seen to the #SharetheLove event has been amazing. And with the arrival of Valentine’s Day, we’re here to share one more surprise.

Everyone who completes 13 free Overtime Challenges by February 27 will receive the upcoming Season 8 Battle Pass for FREE! If you don’t have an outfit, now is your chance to get several for free. With the Battle Pass, you’ll receive two Season 8 Outfits instantly and you can earn up to five more. Save your V-Bucks, this one’s on us!

At the time of writing, five challenges are available but more will release very soon. The challenges are as follows:

  • Collect Coins in Featured Creative Islands (15)
  • Deal damage to opponents with Assault Rifles or Pistols (500)
  • Search chests or ammo boxes at a motel or an RV park (7)
  • Place Top 15 in Duos with a friend (3)
  • Regain health from a campfire in different matches (3)

Fortnite players have until 27 February to complete 13 Overtime Challenges and most of the dedicated players should be able to complete them, at least from what we’ve seen in the first five challenges so far.
