Elden Ring Closed Network Test Includes Five Playable Classes

The Elden Ring Closed Network Test is kicking off later this month. The test marks the first time the public can get their hands on the anticipated hardcore RPG ahead of its release date in February 2022. If you’re jumping into the test later this month then you will be happy to know the game includes five playable classes for players to experiment with.

According to Bandai Namco, the five Elden Ring classes in the Closed Network Test include the Prophet, Champion, Bloody Wolf, Enchanted Knight and Warrior.

For those who have played a FromSoftware game before, these classes won’t come as a huge surprise. However, most of them also provide a spin on the traditional class systems from previous Dark Souls games. For example, the Enchanted Knight is a mixture of a melee build with magic. This is great for players, like me, who enjoy a little bit of close combat with the opportunity to jump back and attack from the distance.

We still don’t know much about these classes in detail but the five available ones in the Closed Network Test might provide enough variety to keep you going back for more. Keep in mind that the Elden Ring Closed Network Test runs for a couple of hours across a handful of days. So you should have enough time to test out all the classes before the test ends. The classes include:

  • Prophet
  • Champion
  • Bloody Wolf
  • Enchanted Knight
  • Warrior
