Elden Ring Day One Update Patch Notes Detailed

Elden Ring, the open-world action RPG by From Software and George R.R. Martin, finally releases tomorrow. As expected with most new releases, a day one update is required if you’re looking to play the most stable version of the game right out the gate. The patch notes for version 1.01 and version 1.02 have been detailed, and here’s what you can expect.

Elden Ring isn’t making too many drastic changes or polishing upon launch. There will be two versions released on the day one patch: version 1.01 and version 1.02. Both address and correct certain issues with the game.

Elden Ring Day One Update Patch Notes

Major items included in the latest update:

  • Improved player controls
  • Addition and adjustment of BGM
  • Text adjustments
  • Balance adjustments
  • NPC event fixes and adjustments
  • Fixed frame rate drops under certain conditions
  • Fixed text bug in some languages
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the Xbox wireless headset from working properly
