Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Let Me Tank Him DLC

Elden Ring DLC Player ‘Let Me Tank Him’ Will Help You Wreck The Final Boss

We’ve all heard of the legend of the Elden Ring player Let Me Solo Her, the individual who single-handedly fights Malenia and aids struggling players. Following the launch of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, it seems like a new player has picked up the mantle ‘Let Me Tank Him’ to help other players decimate the final boss, which is arguably the hardest boss fight that developer From Software has ever made. As a warning, we will be discussing major spoilers below for the final boss.

A summoned player simply named Let Me Tank Him (no doubt inspired by the legacy of Let Me Solo Her) began appearing near the front door of the final boss, Promised Consort Radahn, in Shadow of the Erdtree to essentially tank all of his attacks and deal chip damage. Since his appearance on the scene, his aid has been well-documented and celebrated on various Reddit threads. However, upon further digging, it turns out that Let Me Tank Him isn’t just one player but several.

It’s quite difficult to find the exact origins of Let Me Tank Him but one user named Somniphobia5994 initially created a character named “Let Me Tank Them” to help players defeat Radagon, the final boss of the base game, before the DLC. This possibly evolved into the idea of Let Me Tank Him, a widespread community effort to create an impenetrable build than can tank most, if not all of Promised Consort Radahn’s attacks.

Upon further digging, there’s a chance that the Reddit user Big_Indication_8780 might be the original Let Me Tank Him summoned player, though the community has now adopted their full-proof method of tanking Promised Consort Radahn.

In fact, users have already figured out an effective Let Me Tank Him build below, which in most cases completely trivialises the final boss fight.
