Let Me Solo Her, the legendary Elden Ring player who built a reputation on soloing Malenia in the base game for other players, has finally defeated the final boss of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC in a flawless run. The player has now taken on the mantle of Let Me Solo Them for the last boss and it seems like he’s now helping players defeat the DLC’s last major hurdle. As usual, we will be discussing spoilers for the final boss so you have been warned.
Let Me Solo Her recently uploaded a five-minute video showing his immaculate run against Promised Consort Radahn and Miquella, who tag-team the player during the second phase of the fight. The player runs without much gear other than his signature jar head and what appears to be Morgott’s raggedy cloak. This puts him in Light Load which gives him a few more i-frames (or invincibility frames) when dodging and rolling. It’s a necessity for players hoping to dodge all of Radahn’s furious swipes.
As for the choice of weapon this time, Let Me Solo Her has ditched his usual dual uchigatanas for three Antspur Rapiers: one imbued with bleed for phase one, one with poison to deal additional chip damage over time and one with frostbite for phase two. It’s a clever setup that shows the player’s understanding of how the fight works and what’s most effective against Radahn, considering his enormous health bar.
Let Me Solo Her has become an icon in the Soulsborne community, even being acknowledged by From Software. His legacy has spurred a number of players to try and emulate his style. One style that arose from his popularity is Let Me Tank Him, a tanky build that’s capable of withstanding all of Radahn’s attacks head-on. Players have been using the moniker of Let Me Tank Him to also assist other players in the final boss fight.
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Watch Let Me Solo Her’s full run against Promised Consort Radahn below.
