Elden Ring Sequel Possibility From Software

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree – South African Release Time

Shadow of the Erdtree, the highly anticipated DLC for the award-winning fantasy RPG Elden Ring, will become available on 21 June, which is tomorrow. However, there have been a lot of questions regarding its release time and when South African players in particular can expect to hop into the new content. We’ll quickly go over when players in South Africa can access Shadow of the Erdtree.

Before you proceed, there are a few things that you’ll need to do first before you can access the DLC. According to From Software, some boss fights that were optional in the base game will become mandatory before accessing Shadow of the Erdtree. Make sure you read our guides on how to defeat Starscourge Radahn as well as Mohg, Lord of Blood – the two primary bosses that need to be beaten beforehand. South African Release Time For Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

Last week, From Software released a handy global release schedule for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree and to everyone’s surprise, Africa was actually acknowledged – an important victory considering that a vast majority of developers and publishers completely forget that the giant continent in the middle of the map is a place where people live and play games too.

From Software’s global release schedule lists an SAST time of 12AM (Midnight Local Time) on 21 June for both consoles and PC when the DLC can be accessed. This means that South African players who took leave from work to play Shadow of the Erdtree can begin playing the expansion as soon as midnight tonight.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree launches on 21 June 2024 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
