From Software will officially unveil the anticipated Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC today. The Dark Souls studio announced that a gameplay trailer will drop later this afternoon (early evening) on YouTube.
You’ll be able to watch the trailer at 16:00 CET / 17:00 CAT. It is expected to be 3-minutes long and give us a glimpse at the upcoming DLC content for Elden Ring.
Although there’s no release date, we can expect during the trailer, sources claim that the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC is expected to launch on 21 June. According to retail listings, Elden Ring will get a new GOTY Edition and a new Collector’s Edition on that day which many assume, will be the day the DLC comes out.
Keep in mind that there’s also a good chance the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC will launch before these new retail versions of Elden Ring. In the past, From Software has usually released DLC for Dark Souls games only to have the GOTY Edition launch months later. We don’t know if that is the case just yet. We’ll have to wait and see what the trailer says.

While many were hoping for the DLC to drop in February, From Software stated last week that although the development of the DLC was making progress, they had no release date at the time. That is about to change.
