An Elden Ring streamer going by the name of MissMikkaa has achieved an incredible feat. They’ve beaten two Malenias simultaneously using both a controller and dance pad. This achievement is part of her ongoing Ultimate Challenge Run to beat Elden Ring twice simultaneously with both a controller and dance pad, though beating dual Malenias has been the high point of the entire challenge.
According to the streamer, it took her three days and 199 tries to beat two Malenias on two different screens at the same time using different methods on each. On one game, she’s using a traditional controller but on the other, she’s playing on a dance pad. To reiterate, this is at the exact same time, which is utterly insane but awesome to watch.
Malenia is arguably the hardest boss present in Elden Ring and one of the hardest boss fights that developer From Software has ever created. Players using a traditional controller already have a tough enough time beating the fast warrior, but using a dance pad in addition to a controller while tackling two playthroughs simultaneously might be a new level of crazy. That said, her entire run is quite an impressive watch overall.
In related news of great Elden Ring achievements, one player has already capped the game’s time at 999:59:59 hours played. A few months after the game’s launch, another player set the world record for the first full no damage speedrun, completing the game in under three hours.
From Software’s open-world RPG has already earned its fair share of accomplishments over the past year, including surpassing The Last of Us Part II as the new record holder for most Game of the Year awards won, in addition to the game winning the ultimate award at The Game Awards 2022.
Elden Ring is currently available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Check out MissMikkaa’s dual Malenia run below.
