Emmys 2019 Winners – Game of Thrones Cleans Up the Awards

The annual Emmys 2019 took place in the early hours of this morning and the winners come as no surprise. It was a big night for HBO and Amazon as Game of Thrones set a new record for the most awards won and Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs Maisel walked away with a handful of awards too.

Even with its mediocre response from its eighth and final season, Game of Thrones cleaned up the ceremony with 12 awards including Best Supporting Actor that went to Peter Dinklage for his role of Tyrion Lannister.
