Microsoft and Playground Games has released a fantastic new Forza Horizon 5 video showcasing the game’s incredible open-world. However, instead of the typical over-the-top loud and obnoxious trailer racing games usually get, this new video is 30 minutes of calm and relaxing soundscapes. So instead of listening to the dub-step music and screeching of tyres around Mexico, you can now enjoy the wind blowing through the trees, birds chirping at the first sight of daylight and the water flowing downstream.
This new Forza Horizon 5 soundscape does a great job bringing the game to life and just goes to show how amazing the world is. Most importantly, this is something players probably won’t experience when the game launches in November. Instead of sitting back and enjoying the world, you’ll most likely spend all your time racing through the various locations on offer.

The video is 30 minutes long which is great for those who enjoy loading up a soundscape and keeping it on in the background as they go about their day. Unfortunately, the only downside to this video is the lack of gameplay. Instead of an active camera panning through the world, Microsoft and Playground Games just used screenshots overlapping the sound. It would have been the cherry on top if the video featured a day and night cycle while this was happening. I guess we can’t have everything.
