After its successful early access phase and launch on PC earlier this year, Everspace 2 is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in August. Rockfish has announced that the popular space-hopping action RPG will launch on 15 August. The game is also set to arrive day one on Xbox Game Pass giving all Xbox owners the opportunity to jump in at launch.
Pre-orders for Everspace 2 are now available on both platforms. The game is priced at $49.99. PlayStation owners can save 20% on their pre-orders if they are a PlayStation Plus subscriber.

Everspace 2 has been played by over 120,000 PC Game Pass players to date. The console launch opens up new platforms for players to experience this popular sci-fi action RPG. According to the studio, on PS5, Everspace 2 has been carefully designed to make full use of the DualSense Controller. This means it will feature haptic feedback and adaptive trigger support.
Both PS5 and Xbox Series X players can look forward to playing Everspace 2 at 60FPS too. Rockfish Games CEO Michael Schade says:
“With space adventure games getting more attention than ever, we’re excited to bring EVERSPACE 2 to whole new audiences on Xbox and PlayStation this August.The two years we spent in Early Access when developing for our PC launch has served us well in the lead up to our release on consoles and we’ve used the last few months well, polishing an already rock-solid foundation. Series X and PlayStation 5 players can look forward to exploring the star systems of EVERSPACE 2 supporting 60 FPS when we launch later this summer.”
Everspace 2 includes a robust 30-hour single-player campaign where players will jump across the galaxy to complete missions, solve puzzles and participate in intense space combat.
The game is also launching in a physical edition on 3 October. You’ll be able to purchase the Everspace 2 Stellar Edition which includes a Steelbook case, the original soundtrack and a mini art book.
