Evil West Gets Second Extended Gameplay Trailer

Evil West, the upcoming vampire-slaying action game from developer Flying Wild Hog, released a second extended gameplay trailer two months after the first debuted. The new 13 minutes of footage dive into the world of Evil West, highlighting combat and various gadgets that the main protagonist can use against foes. Publisher Focus Entertainment has also opened up pre-orders for the game which are now live.

The new gameplay footage for Evil West showcases an interesting variety of weapons and gadgets. The combat gameplay has been compared to 2018’s God of War, which certainly has a few similarities. However, instead of Kratos’ Leviathan axe, players will use an assortment of weapons from a six-shooter, a rifle, an electrified grappling hook and much more.

The new gameplay also explores in some detail Evil West‘s vampiric world. This includes a new look at a boss fight against a giant bat enemy and how the Wild West would’ve been overturned had the time period been invaded by vampires.

The official description of Evil West provided for the latest trailer reads:

“Evil West, the third-person action game that puts you in the boots of a vampire hunter rescuing a Wild West devoured by darkness, just revealed a new extended gameplay video, and opened pre-orders for all platforms. Coming November 22 to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC, the game fires you up in 12 exhilarating minutes of gameplay and cutscenes, fully showcasing an early level in Evil West’s narrative-driven campaign and an additional boss fight.”

Players who pre-order Evil West will receive the Wild Wild West Skin Pack, which is also included in all physical versions of the game.

Evil West releases on 22 November 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Check out the electrifying new gameplay trailer below.
