Capcom hosted a special pre-launch Exoprimal Showcase in the wee hours of this morning. The showcase detailed what players can look forward to when the game launches this week as well as content headed their way in the months ahead. There’s some really cool stuff planned for Exoprimal and by the look of things, Capcom wants to offer collaborations with each new season.
Season 1 of Exoprimal kicks off on 28 July just two weeks after the game’s launch. Season 1 includes the Savage Gauntlet as well as Title Update 1 which comes with 10 Alpa variant Exosuits.

Season 2 of Exoprimal then brings the already-announced Street Fighter 6 collab to the game. Details are scarce on what this crossover will include specifically but we can likely expect skins as well as themed game content.
Season 2 also brings Title Update 2 which is a new map, Ocean Platform. The update also adds new Rigs, Modules and a new final mission to the game. Season 2 is expected to arrive on 16 August.
At a later date, Capcom will then bring Season 3 to the game. This season will add a Monster Hunter collab to it. Like the Street Fighter 6 content, details are non-existent but expect themed cosmetics and perhaps the opportunity to take down some powerful monsters from the series.
The Title Update 3 then adds the Beta variant Exosuits as well as the Neo Triceratops variant to fight. Capcom says that each season will last three months or so. The developer claims that Season 3 of Exoprimal will launch in January 2024.
The most interesting part of this post-launch content is likely the Exosuit variants. Capcom says that these Alpha and Beta Exosuits offer completely different abilities and weapons for each existing Exosuit. The developer will also add all then of these suits at once meaning in August, you’ll have a whole bunch of new attacks to master and Exosuits to get used to.
You can watch the full Exoprimal showcase below. I have set the video to play at the start of the stream. Exoprimal launches on 14 July for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
