Bethesda revealed the Fallout 76 PC requirements and although it is higher than the Fallout 4 specs, it is still lower than most current big budget releases. Fallout games traditionally don’t require a monster PC to run on as spectacular graphics have never been the drawing card to play the games.
We love Fallout games for things like exploration, stories, and quests. Fallout 76 is, of course, a completely different game than any of its predecessors, so keep an eye on Glitched for our beta verdict.

Fallout 76 runs on the same game engine as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4, the Creation Engine. However, the Fallout 76 version does include new tech for things like lighting and rendering, to name but a few.
Fallout 76: Minimum PC Requirements
- Requires 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
- Processor Intel: Core i5-6600k 3.5 GHz
- Processor AMD: Ryzen 3 1300X 3.5 GHz or equivalent
- Graphics NVIDIA: GTX 780 3GB
- Graphics AMD: Radeon R9 285 2GB or equivalent
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Storage: 60 GB of free disk space
Fallout 76: Recommended PC Requirements
- Requires 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 7/8.1/10
- Processor Intel: Core i7-4790 3.6 GHz
- Processor AMD: Ryzen 5 1500X 3.5 GHz
- Graphics Nvidia: GTX 970 4GB
- Graphics AMD: R9 290X 4GB
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Storage: 60 GB of free disk space
The next set of Xbox One beta sessions kick off today:
- Saturday, 27 October from 5pm ET to 7pm ET
- Sunday, 28 October from 12pm ET to 2pm ET
PC and PlayStation 4 players can now download the beta client with an install size of around 45 GB for PS4 and 60 GB for PC. The beta opens on October 30, here are your scheduled sessions.
