Fallout Season 1 Review Amazon Prime Video

Fallout Season 2 Premieres This December – Renewed For Season 3

The live-action Fallout TV show has received a premiere month and it’s sooner than you think. Many fans suspected that we might have to wait another year for the second season to arrive after it only recently wrapped filming but thankfully, it will be out this December. Amazon has also already greenlit season 3, which means the studio is confident that the story will continue for multiple seasons.

As reported by Variety, season 2 of Fallout will premiere this December though no date has been attached. The second season will “pick up in the aftermath of Season One’s epic finale and take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas.” The show has also been renewed for season 3, though no premiere date was mentioned.

The second season of Fallout will seemingly follow directly after the events of the first season and take viewers to the iconic location of New Vegas, the setting for Obsidian Entertainment’s 2010 critical hit, Fallout: New Vegas. Most of the cast is expected to return including its main trio Ella Purnell as Lucy MacLean, Aaron Moten as Maximus and Walton Goggins as The Ghoul. Macaulay Culkin will also join the cast in the upcoming season.

The first season debuted to a very strong viewership, breaking Prime Video’s records by accumulating more than 100 million viewers worldwide. This puts it comfortably in Prime Video’s most-watched shows on the entire platform and enough reason to keep that momentum going. It’s success is owed to the show’s strong direction and reverence for the video game source material, taking place in the same timeline as the games as to progress established lore and events instead of tampering with it.

Fallout season 2 debuts this December. We won’t have to wait long for a first trailer to arrive.
