Fary Cry 6 now has an awesome new Stranger Things DLC available for all players. Best of all, the DLC is completely free and lets players explore new regions, use new weapons and fight deadly Stranger Things creatures across a distorted Upside-Down island. Even better news is that Far Cry 6 is completely free to play this weekend meaning even if you don’t own the game, you can download it and play it starting today.

The big sell here is the new Stranger Things DLC which arrives unexpectedly in the game. It also lives outside of the game’s seasonal content which saw three DLC packs release over the past few months focusing on past Far Cry villains.

Ubisoft describes the Far Cry 6 Stranger Things DLC as a stealth-horror experience as players enter the Upside-Down in search of Chorizo who has mysteriously vanished.

This DLC is a strange direction for Far Cry 6 which is the furtherest thing from a horror game. However, from what I have played so far, its dark and twisted world makes for a fun time. Not to mention the weapons and enemies provide a cool approach compared to shooting weak goons.
